Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actor and singer from the United States. Most famously, she is known for her portrayal of Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama and Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). In addition, she played the leading part of Jerrica Jem Benton on the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples' parents Wendy and Ashley raised her at Lake Mary Florida. Her older sister is Ally. Aubrey appeared in The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her young age for 10 years. Aubrey was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class of 2012. Harvard University accepted her but accepted her entry two times in order to take on her role in Nashville. Peeples has guest-starred on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin & Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), and played a recurring character in Necessary roughness (1991). She appeared in the television movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009), and The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major character in the Nashville second season drama. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder when she spoke in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the top actors aged under twenty years aged in September 2014.
